CCLAS (Citizens Committe for a Lakewood Animal Shelter) announced today that there are no animals currently at the Lakewood Animal Shelter.
That's a pretty amazing feat, and a testament to all the hard working shelter staff and CCLAS volunteers. They spend hundreds of hours caring for the animals and finding them good homes.

However, please don't take this to mean that the shelter isn't needed....."kitten season" will be coming soon.

And please, let's not forget Missy and the wonderful job her rescue does. She has animals needing homes.
