12.11.2015 Jerry Koenigsmark, Husband to Ruthie, Father to Jerry and Charlie lost his fight with pancreatic cancer.
Jerry is better known to the MidWest, and car clubs worldwide as the founder of the Madison Village Car Kulture Show, aka Lakewood Car Kulture Show. Even when Jerry was traveling the world for PPG, he would search out members of the car culture and make amazing connections.
Here is a short tribute you a guy I loved.

The visitation for Jerry was packed today, and his shiny black hot rod greeted everyone at the entrance to the funeral home.
Good to see so much support from family and friends.
Ride on Jerry. You have a fine family. God bless your soul and their lives.
Back to the banjo.

Jim,
Has there been any talk of continuing the Car Kulture Show in Jerry's honor? It certainly would be a nice tribute.

Without Jerry's hard work it would be tough. What many never realized is how much back work Jerry, Ruthie, Jerry Jr. and Charlie did behind the scenes. One of the reasons we got the turn out we did is because of Jerry, his and the many clubs he belonged to supporting other clubs car shows. When I was more involved we would fan out week to week, hitting various shows, and making sure they knew and supported ours.
When Jerry left us, too much for anyone person was left. Ruthie considered it, and I was willing to jump in as I always was, but I do not see it happening.
This year, the Beer Engine was trying for a bicycle show, but I think that fell through.
Never say never, but I think it is a long shot.
Most of us still in shock over the loss, even though we knew what he was fighting for almost a year.
