I just got another flyer in the mail from the Lakewood Hospital Association. Is it legal to use Hospital funds to support the Mayors re-election?
If they are willing to use Hospital money to finance political campaigns what else have they been up to?
What happened to the $27 million in money market funds in 2008?

Re: Lakewood Hospital Money Financing Mayors Campaign
Bill,
I recall that 2.1 million dollars was budgeted to the Madison Avenue Road Project. I attended the merchants meeting that was held at Harding Middle School and the audience was told that , I believe, through county , and federal funding the city would only have to pay $55,000 dollars.
I have gone back as far as 2013 and reviewed the city budget and have yet to see where that money was moved to. Why did they not use the money to do roads such as Brown, Richland, Bayes, etc., that are so bad?
Watch for next months budget folks. Maybe it will show up then!

Normally they can campaign for something unless it is "express advocacy". i.e "vote for Summers" or "Vote against Issue x"
However, since the fliers and advertising are created and paid for by CCF/LHA who are both legally obligated to adhere to the singular mission to operate hospital, and the ads and literate are pitching economic development instead (I.e. Carrot dangling to BL and the general public) that runs contrary to their mission. I think they are violating the law. It is too bad that the Ohio Attorney General does not use his power to stop this wasting of charitable assets by Mayor Brian Donley and Defendant Summers.
Also, since the ads and fliers personally benefit the Defendant in his personal re-election bid, his participation and support of that LHA campaign amounts to his theft of charitable assets for his benefit.
