Never Saw This Before

I had never seen this phenomenon before. The fog was damning up behind Hillard Bridge, as you can barely see with the fog over the bridge. Then it would flow through under the bridge very quickly and move not along the river but across the field, and up the cliff then down West Clifton. It was pretty amazing!

A quick flowing fog river in the Emerald Canyon.

I saw the fog on my ride to work from near your place Jim, it looked kind of odd so I rode down Hogsback and into it. Well it was an ice fog. What I think must have happened is the fog formed when the temperature was a little above freezing, then it froze up just before daybreak. That must be why it behaved oddly.

Then I rode up Hogsback. It's been a long winter....

The fog came from Mall C and the vapors from yesterday's Tea Party.

Not the term I heard.

That other term always makes me shake my head.

However that was headed the wrong direction.
