Did private messaging go the way of the Edit button?

Post by Donald Farris »

Hi,
I just noticed that a private message I thought I sent to someone last month never got sent. It's hanging out in the Outbox. Maybe, I screwed something up but I thought the Deck software handled moving a private message from the Outbox to Sent. Did I do something wrong? Or has the Deck's private message system gone the way of the Edit button?

Don, I think a message sits in the out box until somebody picks it up, but to answer your question, nothing was changed regarding private messages.

Hi,
OK thanks! Maybe the person I sent it to doesn't want to read i.

I hope you and yours have a wonderful peaceful weekend.

Maybe they turned off the pop up box and email notification.

One very good thing about a having that message hang out in the outbox is the ability to remove it before the receiver gets it, if you happen to change your mind about sending it after you already did so.

That happened to me, and I was very glad I was able to have the message go away before it was received.

We should always think carefully about what we write or speak.

We don't always do that

Once it's received, it's received.
