The Snow Day Themometer

Post by Thealexa Becker »

Apparently, -9 is the magic number to get a snow/cold day.

Obviously, yesterday, with the bone-chilling air was not enough to merit closing the schools. Clearly, we were all going to be safe and warm inside. At least until we have to cross the street to get to those silly mods.

Believe me, it was a LOT of fun walking home, I can only imagine how it was for the 8 years olds, or the LHS kids crossing the street every 40 minutes.

Perhaps we only got today off because it makes no sense to have another 5 day weekend.

Someone needs to fix this system or talk some sense into the eskimos who make the call.
I'm reading about myself sitting in a laundromat, reading about myself sitting in a laundromat, reading about myself...my head hurts.

It was cold enough for my car to not start. Working from home is nice ;-)

It's funny I was hoping for this snow/cold day but now my new furnace is struggling to keep my house warm enough. I'm definitely not going to let the temperature drop down tonight like it normally does.

As I posted elsewhere.

A balmy 37 degrees in Alaska!

Here in the wind, is deadly.
