From the other paper:

The article mentions Detroit Avenue but not Madison Avenue. Anyone know if Madison is included?

Not the other paper, but the carpetbagger's paper that comes to Lakewood to take money out of it.

Yes Madison is included, there have been at least 6 spots that could create "outdoor" dining. I know of two that have applied, and MAMA is hard at work with others.

Shop Lakewood, Support Lakewood.

Shheesshh, I thought I was cranky.

Madison from Bunts to Madison Park has a lot of nice restaurants. The street can be narrowed to allow for more outdoor dining space. Detroit is a better business street and much more active but Madison has a lot of potential. Kudos to all those involved.

2009 is going to be a great year!
