Ok to lighten the mood...

Post by Missy Limkemann »

I took in a new foster this weekend. A beagle who is pregnant. I go at 2pm to the vets office today to find out how many and how far long she is. She came from Marietta Ohio as she was dumped in the over night drop box. I am really excited to help this girl out. (anyone have a kiddie pool they are no longer using? lol)
Ivor, I think when the puppies are born, I am going to beg (and beg!!!) you to come over and help take pictures... :D

I can't help with any of that I also can't adopt but when they're big enough will you allow visitation? I'll bring a meal for their mama or you!

Well we have at least 6 puppies...still early but can see the start of skeletons. I have no idea how to read doggie xrays (or any for that matter) but the vet said she could see ribs etc. I have about 3 weeks (maybe 4 or on the high end of 3 weeks) so that does give me some time to make more room.
I have her in a huge x-pen to give her space and the keep her safe. She came infested with fleas but I was able to capstar her safely. I had her heartworm test done but will know tomorrow about her.
She is awesome. OMG I adore her so much. She is also gorgeous (as you will see....)
And once these babies are born, trust me, I will have an open house to show them off. I am so excited to have her here. She needs lots of love!!!
