What did you do Friday Night October 24th, '08 ?

JUST FOR FUN, what did you do tonight? I'm watching TV, hoping to find a great old movie, watching my little onel, and wondering what I have an urge to make for a snack. That's about it.

I'm sure everyone, or close, must be doing something a little more exciting, or maybe not.

What did you do

We went to Trader Joe's to pick up a few things and then on to Dewey's pizza. Very crowded but, worth the wait as I ran in to a very old friend and her family. Now we are playing Wii and getting ready to watch a movie as well. I was going to meet another friend this evening but my friend is apparently not taking calls tonight so the movie wins.

I was in charge of the Fall Festival Dance at Grant Elementary. Lots of loud music, helpful parents and crazy kids. I had a wonderful evening with my family and friends.

I took our cornhole boards, my daughter and her friends to the Roosevelt Harvest Fest after dropping my son at Garfield for the dance.

Then I brought the girls and cornhole home, got my son from the dance, and started baking cookies and making chicken salad for a bar mitzvah tomorrow morning.

I must be nuts!

 Tried to go Trick or Treating. First house said I was too early and too old. These people just can't get over the calendar thing.

We drove to Cahoons nursery for our pumpkins, went to Friday's for dinner, came home, put the kids to bed and then I took the dogs out for a walk in the rain, (ok really I just walked around my house...lol), came in, cleaned up, went to bed. I am now feeling like a Mack truck ran me over.

Made calls for the Obama campaign from my home!!

Are you surprised?

Oh and I read and wrote a little on one of my blog sites.

I spent Friday night at Vermilion High School, covering the Vermilion-Firelands football game for the Lorain Morning Journal.
