I was just reading a sample ballot for the upcoming election. There are two Ohio Supreme Court Justice seats on the ballot. The incumbents, Maureen O'Connor and Evelyn Lundberg Stratton are up for re-election.
The two of them, and two others, recently voted against home rule in their decision to not allow cities to ban guns in public areas, like parks.
After participating in two lengthy city charter reviews, I am a little sensitive about giving up home rule.
I am not a one-issue voter, but if anyone has information about these two judges, or their opponents, that may sway my vote one way or another, I’d like to hear it.
I usually pay attention to Ohio Supreme Court justices to see if they have been harmful to public education. I certainly don’t follow much of what they do otherwise.
Please enlighten me.
Here is a link to the Plain Dealer coverage of the gun decision.

Ohio Supreme Court Justices on the Ballot
Nothin' shakin' on Shakedown Street.
Used to be the heart of town.
Don't tell me this town ain't got no heart.
You just gotta poke around.
