Green Lakewood 5K

Due to an influx of support and to allow for additional participation in the event, Pillars of Lakewood’s Green Lakewood 5K race has been postponed. The tentative date for the race is now October 18, 2008.
While plans have not been finalized, Pillars of Lakewood is working to expand the scope of the Green Lakewood 5K event. We are currently growing our working relationships with new and existing partnerships. More information on the Green Lakewood 5K will be posted at Pillars of Lakewood’s website (pillarsoflakewood.com), or by emailing Shawn Juris at [url]events@pillarsoflakewood.com[/url].
Every effort will be made to notify those who pre-register for this event. Race coordinators will also be at Lakewood Park for those who had not registered in advance.
Pillars of Lakewood is the young professional division of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. Their mission is to make Lakewood more conducive to business development by fostering a vibrant and engaged demographic of 20-40 year olds while connecting residents, employees, and business people to their community.
