A large crowd of people and cars all day provided fun in the sun from 10:am - 6:00pm

A big Thank You

To the City of Lakewood Ohio and employees.

Mayor FitzGerald and staff.

Melissa Garrett

The Businesses On Madison Avenue, that join in

and of course

Jerry and Ruthie Koenigsmark

I was so lucky, 4 years ago, the day you called and
asked if the Lakewood Observer would be interested
in working with you.

To all the bands, fellow sponsors, (Cox, Lowbrow Customs, Chain Link Addiction, LIA(Lakewood Is Art) and to all people that stopped by.

Thank you

As Mayor Edward FitzGerald said from the bandstand during the awards. "The car show has grown into a great event over the last 5 years. The city has to work to keep it that way for the next 50 years."

Hey Jim,

Do you have a final number as to how many cars were in the show this year. Seemed to be a bit more then last year. As always our family loves taking a walk down Madison viewing the cars. We had a great time!!

The final car count was just over 300 registered. Not sure how many people but it was well supported. Thanks Lakewood!
I also want to thanks all of the sponsors, bands, and the city. I especially want to thank Jim O'Bryan for all of his help, Mayor Fitzgerald for his support, and lastly my wife Ruth.
I recieved compliments all day from not only Lakewood residents, but from others saying what a great day it was, and what a unique and different setting than the usual car shows.
Next year will be even bigger and better as we will try to expand to accomidate more cars and get more businesses involved.

Jerry--- Good stats--

but the emotion for me was the '67 Olds Delta barn find that was as strong as its heyday and-------

the '59 brilliant red Caddy that floated into the show like a cruise ship.

On site "Elvis" did a tremendous job of explaining the Cadillac nomenclature.

I really wish I could have made it this year. Sadly my toddler was almost admitted to the hospital so we relaxed and took it easy.
I will live thru pictures and stories though...

Jerry and Ruth:

Thank you for choosing B.S.A. Troop 211, Lakewood as one of your food vendors for the Car Kulture Show. Not only did the troop do well with their fundraising goals by selling hot dogs, sausage sandwiches, cold water and soda, but our families had a great time at the show, including an exchange student from Germany who had been in the U.S. for less than a week. Cars were breathtaking; weather was perfect, crowds were friendly and generous; music and entertainment was fun; businesses looked to be doing a very brisk business – - all cylinders were firing.

Thanks for another stellar Car Kulture Show.

This was the first year we were able to make it to the show and it was fantastic. My husband was in heaven walking around looking at all the cars. The music was wonderful. Definitely an enjoyable experience and we look forward to going again next year.
