LHS Rangers - support the home team

Post by Joe Ott »

LHS soccer starts next week as well as Cross Country and more.

The girls varsity team had a couple scrimmage games this week and they look ready to play.

There was a thread earlier this week about fun dates for less than $20.
Here's one for you - go to some LHS Ranger events this fall at the stadium.
$6 for tickets and get a hot dog or two.

You get good cheap entertainment and you help the sports programs to boot.

Good neighbors give a hoot about what the kids next door or down the block are up to. I look forward to taking my 2-year-old to her first Friday nite Ranger game.

Hail to thee! O Lakewood High
Thy dear name uphold;
We shall ne'er forget
The purple and the gold.

WF III-- Where does Betsy fit into your family? We went to Hayes.and and Harding together and are "67 LHS grads. I had the distinct pleasure of seeing her again at our 35th.

Stan,

She's my aunt - Dad's sister. Dad (Class of '61) just passed on 6/26. Uncles Rick ('63) and George ('64) are still at it, however. My brother, Mark, and I grew up in the same house on McKinley as Dad and his sibs.

Well let's keep it rolling WFIII!!!!! I'm sure we'll meet at upcoming events.

But in the meantime, I'm sure all of your siblings and aunts and uncles will recognize the paramount predominance of the Class of '67.

(he he, stirring up the ole hornets nest there)

Sorry for the slow reply, Stan, but need I point out:

The Class of 1988, the only class to win the Friday night "Almost Anything Goes" Competition, marking the end of LHS Spirit Week, 4 years in a row. Stupified, my family of fellow alumni goes quiet. Summary judgement, in favor of the youngsters wearing mullets, cheering on Bernie Kosar and missing 19-year-old beer sales by a few years.
