These e-mails are updates of the City of Lakewood, Ohio's concurrent initiatives to create a structurally sound budget for 2008, and to create financial strength and flexibility for 2009 and beyond as prescribed by Joint Resolution #8167-07.

Attached is the May "Report 52" that reports budgeted versus actual revenues and expenditures as of April 30, 2008.
As of April 30th, 1/3 of 2008 has passed, so actual revenue and expenditures are benchmarked at 33.33% of budget.
General Fund Revenues are at 38.58% of budget, with Income Taxes revenues $864,259 higher at this point in the year than last year.
General Fund Expenditures are at 31.24% of budget.
