Breakfast with "the Bunny".

Post by Dee Krupp »

I noticed the sign at the BOE advertising Breakfast with the Bunny. Do you suppose our liberal Lakewoodites left out "Easter" deliberately or did they just not have enough letters??

I'll bet it was deliberate because even though that's what he is, we can't let the cat out of the bag to those that don't already know because we wouldn't want to offend anyone!

I guess he's just a Spring Bunny now.

Stan,

No age limit. However, believers only!

A wonderful event hosted and worked annually by the Lakewood Junior Womens Club. A very popular event. Has been referenced as "Breakfast with the Bunny" since it's inception some years ago....so no BOE conspiracy.

BAD news is that you missed out as it was held this past Saturday.

GOOD news is 3 different seatings were nearly all sold out. Chinese auction also saw lots of action.

GREAT news is funds raised by Lakewood Juniors are distributed annually to Lakewood community programs and charities.

I thought perhaps Hugh Hefner had some role in the event.

Too bad....definitely would have improved parental involvement among Lakewood dads.
