Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Newly appointed Observer Advisory Board Member Lauren Rich Fine was nominated by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as a possible Riot Girl Award.

The R&RHOF's Riot Girl Award is to honor a woman from Northeast Ohio that has made a difference on the cultural scene.

While working for Merrill Lynch and holding down the spot of Number 1 print media analyst for 11 years, she was often considered to be the "Mick Jagger" of analysts, and one of the most influential evangelists of Hyper-Local Media, it is nice to see here get this nomination.

When contacted Lauren stated, "I just want to be on stage with Joan Jett."

Good luck.
