My aunt got her invitation to the Christmas party last Thursday. I didn't get mine. Is someone trying to keep me away? Has anyone else gotten theirs?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Seeing as Ryan Patrick Demro has seen fit to post the personal email addresses of council members on his post about the budget deficit, I sent the following email to the mayor-to-be and Dems Club president:

When will the rest of the invitations go out or will they?

I just checked the membership list for the Dems club. This is the last update of the list that was made at the elections meeting.

You are not on the list - this is also the list that is used to make the labels for mailings.

FYI, on the council prez thread where Ryan posted e-mails, the address at yahoo for Ed Fitz has a number "1" after his name. Perhaps you left that out?

That's so weird. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to invite you to a party. I mean after all the nice things that you say and the amazing rapport that you have with others it's astonishing that your invite wouldn't be the first on every list. For all that you've said and done, being left off an invite list sounds civil. If Santa has some helpers, I wouldn't be surprised if you get a big lump of coal.
