Suggestion: Contest for the Best Decorated House

Post by Mark Crnolatas »

I believe Cleveland has one, and a few suburbs. In driving around, we've seen some awesome lighting for Xmas on houses in our own city.

I suggest we have a yearly contest for our own city's creative residents.

great idea!

I was thinking about the same thing. Although not a lot of lights are up yet.

We'd have to set a deadline for assembly by December...18th. Then judging can begin?

The City should do something like the "Most decorative street"

and the winner wins a block party in the summer.

Brilliant huh?

I keep meaning to drop a note off at the house on Bunts and Franklin to thank them for their enthusiastic decorating. I really enjoy the fact that they always have a festive attitude.

Now of course I roll the other way. During the fieldtrips and safety patrols the crew like to search for best use of 1 strand of lights. We have often thought to have best use of one strand contest, and award a second strand of lights to the winner
