Polished glass...where to buy?

Post by Dee Krupp »

Does anyone know of someplace in or around the area to purchase polished glass? More specifically, my husband is making a curio cabinet and needs polished glass (where the edges are smoothed out) for shelves. He doesn't know where he can get this.

Thanks Jeff. I just called them. I'll send my husband there.

There is a place called Glass Fabricators near the Lake Erie Screw Building. The have made some shelves for us and also some tops for our antiques. The can do any kind of edge you want. It is best to come in with either the dimensions that you want or a cardboard templete of what you want.

They also have different types of glass to pick from.

Hope that helps...they should be in the phone book.
