BREAKING NEWS- TWO SUSPECTS CAPTURED

The Lakewood Observer has just been informed that suspects in two crimes have been apprehended.

Francisco Rodriquez, the suspect in the shooting of Justin Wey has been captured in Lorain County by US Marshals working with the Lakewood Police Department. This is breaking news, this capture occurred this morning.

The suspect in the 5/3rd bank robbery was apprehended yesterday in the parking lot of Madison Beverage.

Kudos to the Lakewood police department and all police departments involved and the US Marshals. We will post more information as it is released.

The bank robbery suspect had reportedly done something in Fairview Park and had gotten into a cab to Lakewood. The cab had been followed by the Fairview police and the suspect was arrested by them with Lakewood officers backing them up.

that fairview robbery was tied to another robbery the same day. It was a chain of robberies.

Oh, gentle readers, there is a media conspiracy against Lakewood. According to a friend, some national TV station ran a photo of Lakewood High School as the site of the Success Tech shooting. She got phone calls about it from Florida and New England.

In this case, we were able to get a scoop.

News organizations get things wrong very frequently and are loathe to make corrections.

But the high school mistake was pretty big. Perhaps they think that all schools look alike?

As you can see, I'm pretty fuzzy on the details, and I got this second hand, but my friend was pretty sure.

The Justin Whey story would make a good episode of Law And Order. The character based on him could be wandering around Lakewood all day while his shooter occasionally follows him or looks for him.

Until near the end of the episode, when the character based on him is shot. Throughout the episode we see the usual Law and Order characters in the background going about mundane errands and leisure activities.

Another shooting had taken place on Hird Avenue and that suspect was taken into police custody on Saturday, where a confession was made.
