Democratic Party Endorsed Candidates

The Ohio Revised Code and the Articles and By-Laws of the Democratic Party of Cuyahoga County state the Executive Committee is the representative body made up of Precinct Committee members from Lakewood and as such has the sole right to make party endorsements by the affirmative vote of sixty(60) percent of the members of the Executive Committee present.

On September 27, 2007 the Lakewood Executive Committee of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party met and endorsed the following Lakewood candidates:

For Mayor: Thomas George
For Council Ward 1: Kevin Butler
For Council Ward 2: Daniel Shields
For Council Ward 3: Mike Summers
For Council Ward 4: Mary Louise Madigan
