Accident on Bunts, Mirl and Hathaway!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Man in the van in the circle started hitting cars on Mirl and Hathaway. Drove west, turned North on Bunts and continued to hit cars and telephone poles, until he hit a tree at the end of the street.

After hitting one telephone pole, 6 cars, and a tree this is what was left of the van. Inside was a puppy chained to one of the seats. The owner was in the hospital.

What happened to the puppy? Has he/she been taken to the Lakewood Animal Shelter?

Jennifer

I offered to take the dog if there was a problem.

I do not know where it ended up.

Thanks Jim! I'll call the shelter to see if the dog was retrieved by animal control officers. I think Laurie was out in the field today. Hopefully the LPD called her.
