Thank you to everyone who attended the LHS Spring Musical presented by the LHS Barnstormers and the LHS Music Department. As one of the adults involved I am happy to report the amazing 150+ Lakewood students all did outstanding jobs!! Big thank yous to all the directors, Dave Gannon, Beth Hankins, Lisa Hanson, Anne Huebner, Gayle Mason and Bill Langenhop for the work and dedication to the students. Bigger thank yous to the parents who transported and supported this production. It takes a lot of hard work and more hours then anyone can imagine.
If you ever want to know what is right with the LCS I encourage you to attend one of the many performances coming up this May.

It was an awesome show..produced by the high school students with the help from a few middle school and elementary students. The acting, singing, music and overall production was dazzling!

A real tribute to the youth of our community and the music and arts programming in our schools.

Following the show, I made it a point to compliment the young man that played one of the central characters "Fagin". I suggested that he should consider continuing his craft next year in college (assuming he was a senior). I was stunned when he replied (with a mouth full of braces) that he was only a freshman. Whoa! Jenyth Rosati, who sang beautifully as "Nancy" is only a junior. Where can I buy an advanced ticket for next year's production?

Thanks to all the staff, parents, sponsors and taxpayers that made it all possible.

No need to thank those who attended. We need to thank all of of you who worked to give the community a wonderful night out at the theater.

I went to the show on Friday night and then saw some of the cast Saturday morning at soccer. I'm in awe of the amazing talent and spirit of the youth of our community.

Big thanks to everyone involved with the Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday.

H2O volunteers, in conjunction with other LHS groups, raised money for the Animal Protective League and CCLAS with a spaghetti dinner and performance of Oliver.

I believe over 250 people enjoyed the dinner.
