With all of the construction on Detroit, I'm curious as to how well the city is working with the business' along the street to try to minimize the obstruction to their livelihood.
I feel bad, but at least twice (so far) I've had a hankering for La Pita Express but passed by, not wanting to weave my way around to a side street to park, etc.
Has anyone talked to any owners lately to see how they're faring through all of this?

We go to La Pita Express at least once a week. Your right it's a little extra work but well worth it.

In this walking community, you could not park close enough.
LaPita is taking it pretty well. He went through a similar nightmare in his last place and finally bailed. This time he loves his spot and loves Lakewood.
I agree now is when these businesses need us. Wait, I mean all Lakewood businesses need Lakewoodites shopping and buying.
I have watched with interest as the City of Cleveland has used the Euclid Corridor Project to spark er, ah, er, ah redevelopment. Whole blocks of stores dying to be replaced by parking lots(land banks). almost makes you think it was part of the plan. But that would be silly.
Support Lakewood, Buy Lakewood.
