The Melt is going to have an outdoor area this summer, in the alley next to the building.
Plans to make improvements to the alley, cut a new door into the building, install lighting, planters and tables and open an outdoor dining area were conditionally approved Monday night.

My fiancee & I went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago, while she was here for spring break.
Albeit it took a while to get our food, it was well worth the wait.
