A very helpful supervisor at the tax department walked be through the process, she also thought I should have been able to file online. She took my number, called the software vendor, and promptly called me back to let me know that in February that capability will be available. They're going to add a notice to the website so people know.
Not that taxes are ever fun to pay, but the tax department was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. Makes it a little bit easier.
