I bought BB when I realized it truly had no real competition in its category. At the time CC was moribund, to say the least.
Plus, CC had stopped selling appliances. Computers and video trends come and go, but people wil ALWAYS need to buy new refrigerators and washing machines.
But from what I've seen and read, CC has decided to live. The new stores (Brooklyn is an example) are much nicer. And they are actually doing a better job with the current "hot" product (big-screen HDTV) than Best Buy.
And, they had no where to go but up (or out)
Check the 2 and 5-year graphs on CC stock. You may wind up crying in your July 4th beer. Sorry.
