On January 11th 2006, the Ohio Supreme Court will be hearing its first Eminent Domain case since the Federal Supreme Court Kelo ruling, and a moratorium on Eminent Domain takings was enacted by the Ohio legislature.

Property rights activists of Northeast Ohio are planning a bus trip down to Columbus to hold a rally and be audience to the case.

A bus is leaving for Columbus at 5:00 am (on the 11th) from behind the Farris building, 18615 Detroit Ave., Lakewood. If anyone is interested in taking part in the rally and/or being present for the hearing, there are a few seats still available on the bus.

This is a really nice feature of the Ohio Supreme Court that you can make your own conclusions.

It states,

"When government gets to chose who owns what private property, there is no such thing as private property".

It concludes,

"If property ownership is your right only until a big guy with a big idea enlists City Hall's aid to snatch it away from you, then every American homeowner is paying handsomely to live on borrowed land and borrowed time."
