Lakewood Hospital Mission Placard

Post by Leo Wetula »

Visited a friend at Lakewood Hospital yesterday. Every time I go there I am surprised this sign is still up. How does closing the hospital make health care readily accessible? I guess they are giving up on their mission?

If you took the Clinic symbol off there it would be a fitting statement for Lakewood Hospital serving the community for over 100 years.

With what has been uncovered over the last few weeks and is now public, you have to wonder if this statement was ever true, considering who wrote it.

"cost effective?"

To whom?

Won't you be my neighbor?"
