To "Decant"

"To pour (a liquid) from one container into another."

"To gradually pour (liquid, typically wine or a solution) from one container into another, especially without disturbing the sediment."

So the Cleveland Clinic made a plan (at least as early as 2011) to gradually pour the assets and value of Lakewood Hospital (assets owned by Lakewood) into Fairview Hospital (Owned by the Clinic) without disturbing the "sentiment" of the public.

Where were Mayor Summers, Mary Madigan and Tom Bullock when this "decanting" of our assets was taking place?

Did they know about and approve of this "decanting" of our assets?

At the July 15, 2015 LHA Trustee meeting, Mayor Summers asked CCF's CFO Ankit Chhabra "Where did it go?" (referring to the loss of volume at Lakewood in the first 6 months of 2015)

Mr. Chhabra (who designed the Decanting Plan) told Summers he did not know where it had gone.

Oh Where Oh Where has our volume gone?

Mayor Summers---have you figured out yet that it was "decanted" to Fairview and CCF's other nearby hospitals?

Mayor Summers, What are your going to do about this "decantGATE" matter?
