Lakewood Fire And Police Look For Body At Solstice Steps

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Lakewood Fire and Police tried one more time to find the body of the "man that dove into
the lake and never came out." While there is no missing person report made Lakewood, Fire
and Police moved to close the books on this one by taking the dog down, one last time to
see if anything has been washed up.

Nothing was found.

Later they loaded the dog onto the boat, went out and lowered sonar to check the bottom,
one fireman was heard to say, "Nothing but fish."

The "Solstice Steps" should be done by before the election. They will offer LAKEwoodites a
view of the lake, that seems bland, but should have a good sunset during the Summer
Solstice. It is the Mayor's dream to allow Lakewoodites to get within 100' of the Lake and
look at it. Well at least on the Solstice.

If you stand on the steps, at the very top and look right, you could almost see this.

I guess this closes the case of "The man that dove in and never came out."

Great work Lakewood Fire and Police. Hope you wore your sunblock.
