CCF Doctors/Employees Fear Retaliation if they Speak Truth

In just the past month, four CCF doctors have told me directly that Lakewood needs a hospital, Lakewood is getting a bad deal, and they wish that they could join the cause. One said "If I joined Save Lakewood Hospital, I would be fired."

I know of a bunch of other anecdotal stories from the flood of people who have been contacting me---there is widespread fear of retaliation.

Some CCF doctors with whom I have enjoyed cordial social relationships now avoid me. Others smile and nod with approval when I see them and then communicate through mutual friends.

The Clinic threatened me asking me not to have any contact with CCF employees:

I am told that on that same day (May 18, 2015) Clinic lawyers told LHA trustees and certain Lakewood Hospital Administrators not to speak with me. I warn my CCF friends and acquaintances who approach me wishing to talk about the hospital about the letter.

One of my CCF doctor friends called me yesterday about our posts. He reminded me that he called the Clinic "evil"----so I may have told you a CCF doctor said the Clinic was "evil" So this proves you were wrong on another point---you always say "people don't read the Deck", but they really do!

The Mayor and the Cleveland Clinic created Build Lakewood to give the appearance of openness and transparency.

If they wanted TO BE transparent they would allow the employees of the Cleveland Clinic to speak out.

Maybe he should tell "Build Lakewood" they think he has the check, their check.
