Many doubted the reason, but I know first hand that while The Winchester, was a great place
for music, and drinks, Jimmy and Becca were uncomfortable. First as hard core conservative
Republicans in the world of Rock, but also they had very strong religious beliefs that put them
in conflict everyday they went to work.
Jimmy's background was in advertising, sports and music. As the son of Nick Mileti, owner
of the Indians, the Cavaliers, the Crusaders and the Richfield Coliseum, he could not have
been far removed from the background and the energy of his father.
But there comes a time when a person has to be proud of what they are doing, and the time
was coming for Jim to say goodbye to Rock and Roll and hello to his project "The Redemption
Mission" and their pulpit on wheels.
So when I was driving down Detroit Ave. and saw both Jimmy and Becca handing out
religious flyers I had to stop and say hello.
They are doing great and are more dedicated to their less worldly efforts today then ever.
Look for the van in front of the Christian Science Church, and stop by and say hello.
