City Hall Grants Police Powers To Lakewood Hospital

Post by marklingm »

From http://www.cleveland.com/lakewood/index.ssf/2015/02/lakewood_agrees_to_grant_cleve.html:

LAKEWOOD, Ohio - City Council has approved an agreement that grants Cleveland Clinic police officers the power to make arrests and investigate crimes in and around Lakewood Hospital.

In other news, the Kauffman Park Basketball Hoops remain closed under the order of Mayor and Public Safety Director Michael P. Summers.

I'm not sure about the real reasons to grant Lakewood Hospital police powers now ... but ... I sure wish Lakewood Hospital had police powers on August 10, 2011.
