When It Rains It Pours - MORE TERRIBLE NEWS!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

I am sure many of you remember when this man...

Lakewood's Director of Planning Dru Siley, tweeted...

Something like, "we just got the nicest taco bell in the world!" for this Taco Bell.

To each his own, but it gave birth to the long running thread,
"Best Taco Bell - Step Away From The Smart Phone."

Now I was crushed to learn that it might only be more PR from City Hall about how good
they are. But now we could be beat by another city on Ohio? Columbus? Ohh the horror!

On a day filled with tough news, like the City's lack of a plan for the Hospital leavingl, or
lack of a plan for leaving businesses in Downtown Lakewood, that planning just spent
millions of our dollars on for the Clinic and Business, it just seems like piling on.

Not fair Columbus!

It looks just like ours. Am I missing something? Are the spending more in Columbus on the exact same design because of efficient state capital urban planning optimization? Not touching the "nicest Taco Bell" assertion, it's like saying you have the nicest boil on the block.

Paul

Love the post. The point of the original "nicest" post was. It was bade enough that the planning department went behind council's back
to build a fast food box that was deemed illegal. But to stop in the middle of the day, while on the time clock, to pat yourself on the back
for helping to open the "Nicest" Taco Bell????? I with you, like comparing boils.
