While many were not so spectacular, the reports of trees down made us think it might
be time to warn you, look up when walking.
Heavy damage to the tree, and the house!
As the city's arborist ran off to the next down tree in Madison Park he could be heard
saying, "Silver Maples, never should have been planted, too brittle!" I mentioned I had
lost 3, he said the city had over 480, now down to 80!
