It Was 22 Years Ago Today...

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

A friend sent me a photo of the back of Crain's Cleveland this issue. "40 Years Ago Today..."

Well 22 years ago, the LHS Class of 1972 had their 20th reunion, and I created this for the cover...

Image
Over 200 hours on a black and white Macintosh 512E, using Thunder Scan and Digital
Darkroom. Everything was black and white with "trust" that the color would work. Honored
by the National PTA for the work, hundreds of requests came in for their school's reunion.
Upon hearing the price, this is still the only version I know of.

Yes that is Mayor Michael P. Summers as one of the Beatles, and a signed version hangs in
his office at City Hall.

Thanks for the memories!

And the LHS Class of '72 Reunion Committee was blown away by your cover. Thanks for making the magic happen!
