What a week! I spent a lot of time out of town, but in the area, and I have to tell you I love Lakewood more and more. Despite some of our small town thinking and behavior, it has incredible potential. Even more potential than we saw when doing our 25 year projections with the Visionary Alignment for Lakewood, the real one. The one that sought out the best minds in the country to look at Lakewood and see what we had going for ourselves. Yes, even ten years ago many thought “Lakewood was the key to good quality home life and living, as long as we never lost what made Lakewood unique.

Enjoy the week, and please take the time to stop by the Deck. It has become one of the most progressive spaces to talk. Again, ten years ago when everyone said “discussion boards” would fail, and everyone wanted to be famous for 15 minutes or less, we said that there would always be time for serious discussion, intelligent discussion, various opinions and fun.

Everyone is welcome on the Deck! And in the paper-- The Lakewood Observer-- the most inclusive project ever launched in Lakewood.
