A recent survey was conducted to determine who would be the best qualified mayor or city manager for Lakewood, Ohio and Scott Meeson came out on top.

The criteria used included:

    Registering a pulse;
    Throwing cool holiday parties;
    Willing to enroll in a city manager school;
    Understanding Minecraft landscaping;
    Grasping the architectural wonders of Lincoln Logs; and
    Knowing the difference between rubber and glue.

Congratulations, Scott!

Well...2015 is right around the corner and I have gotten ahead of the game. I would think that our next Mayor is going to need some knowledge of flying unmanned aircraft. This timely holiday educational piece has been sent my way:

In review:

Registering a pulse: In Progress!
Throwing cool holiday parties: Qualified!
Enroll in a city manager school: Completed, turned out not to be needed.
Understanding Minecraft landscaping: Qualified!
Grasping the architectural wonders of Lincoln Logs: Qualified!
Knowing the difference between rubber and glue: Qualified!
Unmanned Aircraft indoctrination: Completed and Qualified!

2015?....it's coming right at you! :)
