Big Board of Ed Meeting tomorrow night-Tue- Jan 21st

Post by Betsy Voinovich »

Tomorrow night's school board meeting has on the agenda the announcement of the "Transition Sites" for our schools that are being torn down this summer and eventually rebuilt.

If you look further down on the agenda you see that the that the "Approval of the Transition sites" is being asked for in one reading tomorrow night also.

Though many sites have been discussed, the ones mentioned most frequently have been Taft, Franklin, St. James and St. Luke's.

The calendar for next school year will also be discussed and approved in one reading. It has some significant changes to try to make more time for the transitions to happen smoothly.

If this affects your life directly-- ie you have students at Lincoln, Grant or Roosevelt-- or you need to plan out your year based on when school is out, and when students return, this is a meeting to pay attention to.
