Congratulations to Garfield 8th grader, Izzy Ostrowski, for bringing home the gold to Lakewood, winning first place for 8th grade in our region in today's Power of the Pen competition.
Many other Lakewood students placed including Harding's entire 7th grade team which came in third over all.
More details later, but for now, great job Lakewood students and teachers.

Lakewood seems to dominate that "Power of the Pen" competition every year.
