Thank You Lakewood City Schools From Cub Scout Pack 68!

Thank you to Lakewood City Schools Superintendent Jeff Patterson, Board President Edward Favre, and Board Vice-President Linda Beebe, as well as Board Members Betsy Shaughnessy, Emma Petrie Barcelona, and Tom Einhouse, for spending a great night with the 4th Grade Webelos from Pack 68.

Board President Favre spent an hour teaching the cub scouts about the American flag; how to fold, hoist, and lower the flag; how to honor veterans; and how to assist the police department in being good citizens.

Board Vice-President Beebe spent another hour teaching the cub scouts about democracy and the law.

The cub scouts then led tonight's school board meeting in the pledge of allegiance.

The night was topped off when each cub scout received a certificate signed by Superintendent Patterson himself. It's just a piece of paper, but the cub scouts love that piece of paper!

The Lakewood City Schools rocks!
