LO Volume 9 Issue 15. Out and on the streets and online. You know, I get to travel all over in the summer, and just like the rest of the year, I love coming home to Lakewood. There is something special about summers in Lakewood. It doesn't matter if it is a festival, a parade, or just walking along the river down in the Emerald Canyon. Lakewood kicks ass for summer, and for that matter, winter.
Take a look at this issue, and let me assure you after talking with many friends, Lakewood is not just holding its own, but we are doing much better than those around us. Many followed the dreams of the shiny immediate gratification, and have now found that it was a hollow future. Slow, solid organic growth respecting neighborhoods and families, pays the big dividends over the long road.
