Meet LPD's newest "officer"

On June 10, 2013, The Lakewood Police Department welcomed its newest member, K-9 Allen.

K-9 Allen (a one and one half year old German Shepard imported from Holland) and his handler Officer Obrock recently returned from a six week intensive training course that certified the dog in patrol and narcotics work. K-9 Allen replaces K-9 Shep, who passed away from cancer in January 2013 after 10 years of service.
