Well, rather than have the original Lakewood Observer banjo keep bouncing around in the back of the car, Dad and I decided to put it on loan to Lakewood's "Quaker Steak and Lube" ™ restaurant, as they already have some Lakewood-related items on display. If any other places would like to display it at some other time, just let me know.
No free barbecue sauce was exchanged for this loan.
