Zombie Clothing store opening Downtown

Post by Betsy Voinovich »

Hi all,

Was walking down Detroit tonight, on my way to Rozi's for their mini-table-side wine tasting, and amazing bread and cheese plate (I'll post that separately) when a zombie man suddenly appeared to my immediate left, causing me to drop my phone.

Actually it was this guy. And his lady friend.

I picked up my phone, backed up and looked inside.

It seemed to be a clothing store of some kind. I then read the rest of the window.

Avalon Exchange--- a vintage used clothing, consignment store, kind of like the Cleveland Shop on the East End, but right in the middle of Downtown.

I looked them up online and they sound pretty cool:

Avalon began in 1988 as a vintage clothing store. Since then, it has remained at the forefront of fashion, constantly changing to provide the customer with quality and style. We would like to thank those that have supported us.

Bring in your items for trade or cash on the spot. We buy quality clothing & accessories that can be resold, keeping our selection diverse and unique.

They didn't actually mention anything about zombies, that was just a trick of the light.

We have really missed Dots, this isn't Dots, but it sounds like a fun place to go. I hope it opens soon. Their website says that they are buying now for Spring.

There are some nice-looking vintage suits in this footage.
