Vote for our West Shore students' "pink glove dance"

While reading over the Lakewood Observer, I came upon the "Pink Glove Dance to Fight Cancer" video contest and looked up our own West Shore Career District Students' dance.

Different groups make videos and enter them in a contest, the winner gets $10,000 to donate to the cancer charity of their choice.

My girls, hearing Katie Perry coming out of Mom's office(!!!) raced into the room to watch the competing videos. Our group did a great job. You will recognize familiar faces and familiar locations throughout.

To watch and to vote, go to http://pinkglovedance.com/home. Search for West Shore Career-Technical District to see their video, and check out the competition. We spent way too long looking at all of the different groups but it was so much fun to watch, and so moving to see so many people reaching out to help.

Go to the link, http://pinkglovedance.com/home, and click on the pink banner that says, "Vote" on the top half of the front page. From there, click on "Select an Organization" and you'll find West Shore under "W." (I just checked it out to make sure it's working. It is.)
