Hi all,
Are these sewer pipes? It's so noisy outside I can't ask right this minute.
This is outside my front door right now, yeah, that truck's in my driveway but when I came home and found it there I got a VIP "No Parking Here" spot on the street for the trade.
The construction workers are very nice about helping us get around all of this, though I did watch a frustrated motorist drive by on all of the front yards last night. A strange sight.
If someone knows the details about this, please post. I don't want to bother these guys they're really busy. I'm amazed at how close one guy will work in the the trench when the shovel is swinging right by his head. It's like a dance.

Re: New sewers RIGHT NOW
Okay so my husband says those aren't sewers, those are the for the drinking water. Not sure what to call them, but that's what's happening. He hangs out in front of the house with the construction workers when he gets home from work so he should know.
They are moving like lightning (relatively speaking) down our street. I think they will be gone from the front of my house by the time I get home this morning. It is pretty fun driving the obstacle course to get home. Trenches, towering piles of dirt, huge shovel-wielding vehicles, backing up and letting you scoot under. I'm glad this is happening in good weather.
