I run into Kathy and Ken Haber relaxing on the Rozi's Café Porch, enjoying a glass of
wine while speaking with Carol Rosen. For those of you who have not enjoyed lunch or
a light evening meal at the Rozi Café, check it out. A perfect place to sit and enjoy a nice
glass of wine or a beer, and watch the city of Lakewood flow by. Might be the best place
in the city to do this.

One of the many food trucks brought in to feed the hungry Melt Downers. Long lines at the food trucks all afternoon.

Michael Gill checking out the Water Moose, something everyone loves walking through, dancing in, or watching.

Michael Gill inventor of the Water Moose, editor of the Great Lakes Courier and CAN Journal shows
Ian Andrews, director of LakewoodAlive how to "Shoot the Moose."

"Follow me, do this..."

"... and this..."

"... and now this..."

"... come on..."

"Mike, I am passing on that one."

Then celebrate!

"OK O'Bryan, your turn."

Westside Skates put together a great skateboarding area. That's Vince Frantz in the back filming while skateboarding.

Looking west from the skateboarding area.

Eloira enjoys the Water Moose.

As the LakewoodAlive Beer Garden cranks up with the band, the place takes on the feel of Woodstock.

Just kidding, this is Woodstock!

"Hey dude!", "No Way Dude", "Hey Dude, Congratulations on Businessman of the Year",
"Yeah, Dude, brothers!" actual conversation, with Matt Fish, owner of Melt(s).

Matt Fish with Ken Brand from LakewoodAlive. I believe this event was Ken's first real promotion at LakewoodAlive. Nice job.

Corey Rosen shows the guns.

Drake and Ruthie with Jeff Normile. Ruthie later, "Who was that guy?" Jeff Normile of Normile Insurance.

Another of Lakewood's power couples. Cindy Einhouse, president of the Beck Center, and
her husband Tom Einhouse, Lakewood School Board Member.

The Schroeders with Ward 2 Councilman Tom Bullock.

Store manager of Mencie's Scott Musser.

Arabelle Romeo from Acenda Yoga.

Mawali owner of Tease Salon checks in.

Quaker Steak and Lube's first event in Lakewood.

Miss Donna from Silhouette Dance Studios.

Staking out the Cool Factor is Cool Cleveland's Thomas Mulready.

As I head back to the office I notice Normile's new window!

As I get ready to lock up the office and head home after hours of fun, I see Fire Chief Scott Gilman talking with
Rick and Paula Reed, and the Habers who look like they have really settled in to the good view, the good wine and the
good conversation. LakewoodAlive's Summer Melt Down, a fun, ever growing event in beautiful DowntowN Lakewood! To
LakewoodAlive, DowntowN Lakewood Business Alliance, Sean, Ian, Ken, Hillary and all of the volunteers.
Thank you for a wonderful afternoon and evening.
