Gas Main Ruptured - Lakewood Street Shut Down

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Image
The crews working on the new McDonalds on Westwood and Detroit Ave. hit a gas main, rupturing it.
The Lakewood Fire Department and Police Department were called in to shut down the street because if the ruptured
line exploded, it could have possibly damaged a few of the residential homes that are still left on Woodward.

As this was posted crews were finishing up.

Wow, now a gas main.

That construction has affected, in the past 30 days:

* Electric
* U-verse (phone/internet/cable)
* Gas

What a cluster. Are all constructions this bad? Don't remember the Cozumel construction causing so much problems just across the street.
